The APTO Education Model
What is the Apto Model?
The APTO Model is a teaching framework that offers practical strategies to support long-lasting educational improvement in schools.
We collaborate with governments, NGOs, and educational institutions to implement this model in schools worldwide.
Above all, we prioritise building strong relationships. Sustainable change cannot occur without them. We view ourselves as a family rather than just an intervention.
Our main focus is on the local education officers. By investing in them, we can bring about sustainable transformation. They, in turn, pass on this investment to school leaders, teachers, and students.
Specifically, we:
1. Work closely with local governance structures.
2. Engage in a way that respects and reflects the local culture.
3. Provide school leadership and teacher training.
4. Facilitate the sharing of best practices among schools.
5. Measure and evaluate our work, using the findings to continually improve our approach.

APTO Training Packages
The APTO Packages were developed from years of experience in the education industry, working with Governments, NGOs, and denominational organisations around the world to support schools to improve the quality of their teaching and learning
APTO SEED
Our APTO Seed package was developed to help new pilot schools to integrate the APTO model into their educational ethos from day one.
APTO Foundations
The APTO Foundations package was designed to help schools to integrate the APTO model into pre-existing educational structures - embedding the tools and techniques from the ground up.
APTO Coach College
The APTO Coach college is aimed at education officers in Governments and NGO who wish to train to become fully certified APTO practitioners, allowing them to deliver ongoing quality improvement to the schools in their region.
