Across the globe, millions of dedicated teachers are unable to deliver the quality of teaching that their students deserve due to inadequate resources and a lack of internet access. That is especially true in areas like rural Africa, where Aprender can make the biggest difference in transforming education.

Our brand new technology, AptoBox, has the power to deliver offline, high-quality teacher training content—anywhere, anytime.

How It Works

1. AptoBox comes pre-loaded with proven teacher training courses

2. Teachers connect the AptoBox to any screen

3. They can then access content, track progress on the associated app, and complete certifications offline.

4. Data syncs when the box reaches connectivity, allowing for impact reports, updates and support.

What's next?

In August, team Aprender will travel to Uganda to pilot AptoBox with developers from Ontum, an Indian-based tech company whose mission is to break free from traditional approaches and create a new adventure in learning. 

Working with long-term partners, the Jinja Education Trust (JET), local Head Teachers will utilise the AptoBox to train groups of teachers in an innovative course that will significantly enhance teaching and learning.
