Why volunteer?
I volunteer for Aprender because I believe education is the most powerful equaliser we have, and every child deserves the chance to shape their own future.
Much of my work in the NGO world has shown me how talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Aprender is one of the few organisations I’ve seen that is genuinely closing that gap by giving teachers and communities the tools they need to change outcomes for themselves.
Being part of that work, even in a small way, feels meaningful and necessary. It is a privilege to stand alongside people who are committed to expanding access, strengthening local leadership, and making high-quality learning possible in the places that need it most.
